The French Football Federation has unveiled its annual ranking of training centers, which takes the following criteria into account :
- Professionalization
- Playing time with first team
- National selections
- Schooling
- European representation
With the highest average score, SRFC was named France's best training center for the second season running. The Rouge et Noir particularly stood out for the number of players trained in its Academy and then launched into the pennant team.
Olympique Lyonnais and PSG complete the podium.
Since 1977, the Stade Rennais F.C. Academy has been a strong entity of the club, with the aim of taking youngsters to the highest sporting and academic level. The Rouge et Noir Academy is once again demonstrating its determination to remain among the best in France and Europe.
Volunteers, educators, medical staff, recruiters, coordinators, employees, teachers, school life, managers... Congratulations to all those who have actively worked to achieve this distinction.
Denis Arnaud, Director of the Stade Rennais F.C. Academy.
Following on from last season's title, the Stade Rennais F.C. training center has once again been awarded the title of best training center.
We're very proud that the club, and in particular the Academy, has been awarded this distinction for the second year running. It's always an achievement, a real source of satisfaction, and it also brings with it a certain responsibility in terms of representing French soccer. I'd like to thank the Pinault family, Chairman Olivier Cloarec and Florian Maurice, who have placed their trust in me for this training project for over four years. We have based our approach on a balance of high standards and benevolence, advocating hard work as the key to collective and individual success.
Does that mean teamwork?
Yes, it does. I'd like to thank all the teams at the Academy. Those who work on the academic front, with a total success rate at the baccalaureate, the ETP supervisors in charge of community life, the educators, the medical, legal and recruitment departments who support our young people on a daily basis, both on a sporting and human level. We would also like to thank the families who have placed their trust in us.
Ninth title of this type for Stade Rennais F.C., training is a pillar of the club.
Training is the Red and Black DNA. With our professional team, we must continue to launch our players. It's the best way of learning to succeed at the top level and achieve the club's objectives. Soccer is a pleasure, and we must take the opportunity to develop through our passion. Before concluding, I'd like to spare a thought for Nicolas Holveck, who also helped me with this project.
