Jorge Sampaoli

« I'm disappointed because the second half was good and we lost despite putting in a lot of effort. Mikayil Faye's sending off obviously changed everything. With a man down, our midfielders got tired quicker than expected. It wasn't necessary, but it was an extremely difficult penalty.

We wasted our first 45 minutes. The first half wasn't enough and was pretty poor even though we had a few chances. We tried to change the team's intentions at half-time and the game remained fairly even, but to no avail. We lacked attacking situations, but we're working on that and rehearsing them in training.

You either have character or you don't, but we're concentrating above all on putting together a game plan. We position the players, try to find the right strategy and put in place a process with the profiles I have. What I want is for the team to be protagonists in matches on every pitch. »

Amine Gouiri

« I think we deserved better, we could have come away with a point. We lost on an individual feat. We held on but we got that goal that hurt us. We reacted well after the sending off but we still could have done better. We knew we had to be aggressive in this derby and we're going home without a point, which is a shame. We're frustrated but that's not going to stop us, we're going to keep working. We've got an important game against Angers at home next week. »

Ludovic Blas

« The red card changed a lot of things. We know it's complicated to play with ten against eleven and we have to try not to concede a goal. It's a shame, especially as we managed to defend well and be solid. We got ourselves into trouble today. If we lose this game, it's because of us. We're going to have to put our heads together and keep some of the good things we've done. »
