« We're happy with the win and that we're building on the positive momentum. When we look at the game, we're a little less satisfied with the first half. We were happy in the first half with their two goals disallowed for offside. What's certain is that our team was balanced. We were able to readjust in terms of entertainment. At times, lower-ranked teams take you into battles that aren't your own, with the pressure of the crowd or the added tension. We wanted to control our match and our emotions.

Djaoui Cissé keeps up a very high level of performance. He's very attentive to the instructions given in a match. He's a low point and that requires a lot of tactical structure in terms of positioning to balance the midfield, which Djaoui does very well. He's focused on improving and we're with him all the way. He doesn't surprise us because we see that every day in training. We're very happy for him but we have to let him develop.

I said at the talk that a lot of people are already burying Montpellier, but the ball ends on 17 May. We have to stay in a positive frame of mind, and it's out of the question to change our tune, because that would mean forgetting where we've come from and taking everything for granted. That's not the case, you saw the first half, we won 4-0 and I tend to think that's flattering. I'm aware of the progress that needs to be made, but you can't question such positive momentum. The club continues to progress. »

Lorenz Assignon

« The dressing room is much better, we're happy and we're trying to celebrate as we should. We were pushed around a bit at the start, which is a shame. We're coming to the bottom of the table and we need to make an impression. We're on a good run of form and we need to show our quality. It took a while, but in the second half we managed to get going. The goals set us free. The coach imposes a lot of intensity on the games in training, but always in good humour, but yes, it doubled. »

Ludovic Blas

« We struggled in the first half. We lacked a bit of movement up front and had trouble keeping possession. It was complicated, but we went back to the dressing room and put a few things right, and things went better in the second half. We were realistic and managed to score when we needed to. We're enjoying it, so much the better. Mentally, we're a lot better, we have more confidence in ourselves. »
