His feelings on the victory
« I'm not relieved but satisfied to have won because we're in a job where we're judged on results. And for us it was important to get these three points to build momentum. We came up against a very low block against us, with very little depth. We had to play the ball very quickly, find space and attack. In the first half, we had a lot of control of the game in our opponents' half, with a lot of set-pieces and a lot of opportunities to put our opponents in danger, but we need to do better.
The end of the game was much more difficult. We lacked control and clarity in our choices. When you don't score a second goal, you're always at the mercy of an accident. We need to improve so that we don't give our opponents those opportunities. I hope this win will boost our confidence. »
The whistles from the fans at the end of the match
«There are expectations. Maybe we didn't meet them all if the public reacted like that. I think it was also our difficult end to the game that led to that. At times like these, you have to understand that what's important for us is to win. The momentum doesn't come directly from something that's flamboyant. »
System change
« We'd had this idea for several weeks, without having the players available. There are still connections to be developed. I'm pleased that Andrés Gómez scored his first goal, it's important for the future. »
Mikayil Faye and Alidu Seidu replacements
« Mikayil felt a little discomfort in his adductor muscles. In any case, he's suspended for the next match, but we'll have to give him some time to rest. »
A solid performance from Mikayil Faye
« It's his fourth professional match and third start. He's a very young player with very little experience, but he showed personality, commitment and certainty too. He showed an ability to play in a 3 and 4-man defence, to take on balls and duels. »
