Some improvement despite Lille defeat (1-0)

They put up a good fight against a Lille side brimming with confidence, but Rennes lost out at the Stade Pierre Mauroy. Edon Zhegrova scored the only goal just before half-time. The other bad news of the day came when Alidu Seidu went off injured with what appeared to be a serious knee injury.
