5 Rouge et Noir focus on CAN qualifiers

 

Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal, a member of Morocco's youth team, had never before been called up to the senior squad. The central defender has been given the honour of being named in Walid Regragui's squad. The Atlas Lions top Group B with six points from a possible six.

On this occasion, the Moroccans will face the selection of another Rouge et Noir, Geoffrey Lembet, a regular with the Central African Republic. His team is third in Group B with one win and one defeat.

Amine Gouiri, who performed brilliantly at the September qualifying matches, will be looking to continue his fine form with Les Fennecs. In Group E, the Algerians lead the way with two wins from as many games.

Alidu Seidu, who has been in fine form in the league, is back in the squad for a double-header against Sudan. The Ghanaians are third in Group F with one draw and one defeat.

The Indomitable Lions will be able to count on Christopher Wooh against Kenya. The Cameroonians, second in Group J, are still unbeaten with four points from two games.

4 Rouge et Noir in Nations League mode

 

Albert Grønbæk, who made a resounding debut for Denmark, has been called up again for the remainder of the Nations League. The Danes will be looking to maintain their position at the top of Group 4, two points clear of Spain.

After two defeats in their opening matches, Glen Kamara's Finland will be looking to make up for lost time against Ireland and England.

Leo Østigård and Norway take on Slovenia and Austria in succession, with the aim of taking an option on qualification after a successful start to the tournament, with a win and a draw.

In Group B, Wales are in a similar position to Norway, with a win and a draw. Jordan James's side have two games against Iceland and Montenegro to look forward to.

Arnaud Kalimuendo, the regular

Kali', a regular in the French U-21 team, will once again join Gérald Baticle's squad for the Euro qualifiers. Five players trained with the Rouge et Noir are included in the Les Bleuets squad: Jeanuël Belocian, Désiré Doué, Andy Diouf, Georginio Rutter and Mathys Tel.

France U17 with Ruben Lomet

The French U17 team will play Wales and Portugal after a training camp in Lisbon. Young player Ruben Lomet is in Lionel Rouxel's squad.

Jibril El Baraka with Morocco's U18s

The U19 midfielder will take part in a week-long training camp at the Mohammed VI complex in Rabat. The programme includes a double friendly against Denmark on 11 and 14 October.
