The spearhead of the Fennecs, Amine Gouiri is continuing his fine form. After scoring in the first match against Togo, he won a penalty in the return leg. The penalty, converted by Ramy Bensebaïni, was enough to seal victory. Vladimir Petkovic's men have already qualified for the African Cup of Nations with twelve points from a possible twelve.

The chances of Ghana taking part in the CAF Africa Cup of Nations are looking increasingly slim, given that Otto Addo's side completely missed out on the double-header against Sudan, with Ghana five points behind them. In Group F, Angola have already qualified.
