Abdelhamid Ait Boudlal and Geoffrey Lembet, who did not start, saw their respective teams face off on Saturday evening. It was a one-sided encounter, with Abdelhamid's Morocco comfortably beating the Central Africans 5-0. Return match tomorrow at 9pm.

Denmark lost to Spain on Saturday by the narrowest of margins (1-0). Albert Grønbæk came off injured against Monaco on 6 October, but was able to take part in the match and play more than 70 minutes. Second in their group, the Danes take on Switzerland tomorrow at 8.45pm.

Second defeat in two games for Finland. After beating Ireland on Thursday, Glen Kamara - again starting - and his team-mates were beaten 3-1 by England yesterday. Finland remain bottom of their League B group.

Norway also played their second match of the international break last night. The match ended in a heavy 5-1 defeat by Austria. Despite this, the Norwegians remain top of a very even Group 3 (three teams on 7 points). Leo Østigård, hampered by a muscle injury, was not in the squad.
