Amine Gouiri, recently nominated for the CAF Award 2024 and a goalscorer in the last qualifier, continues to impress with Algeria. In Group E, the Fennecs lead the way with four wins from as many games.

Geoffrey Lembet, goalkeeper for the Central African Republic, has been called up by Eloge Enza-Yamissi, the new coach of the Fauves du Bas-Oubangui. The Central Africans are in third place in Group B.
