Martin Terrier arrived from OL on 6 July 2020 with the promise of great potential. In the Rouge et Noir, he quickly became a firm favourite with the fans, who appreciated his efficiency and determination. Named Ligue 1 player of the month three times, and in the league's top team in 2022, the striker piled on the goals, distributing them with precision and scoring decisive strikes.

In the 2021/2022 season, he equalled Alexander Frei's record of 21 goals in a single season at the club in the 21st century. His technical relationship with Benjamin Bourigeaud, Amine Gouiri, Lovro Majer and Hamari Traoré, in particular, delighted the fans and led Stade Rennais F.C. towards Europe.

After writing his name in the club's history books, Martin Terrier has chosen reigning German champions Bayer 04 Leverkusen to continue his journey. Thanks for all the excitement, Martin!
